Day
#2 - Afternoon: a good hog day

(Left to Right) Fred
Lutger, George Tague and Colby Ward.
Fred Lutger's Hunt
Blaine Covington and Fred
Lutger hunted in a hot spot for wild hogs. They put their equipment, and
then themselves, into a Double Bull blind and waited. Blaine is with FullDraw
Productions and the video production man for our upcoming TV show Bowhunting.net
TV. (That's Blaine Covington in the pictue elow, hard at work.)
Colby Ward's Hunt
Colby hunted at a 2-man
ladder stand. A group of wild hogs came in and Colby took aim at the biggest
one and it dropped in sight. Another hog group came out of the brush later
and rooted the hog around. As it got darker three huge hogs came through.
Colby Ward and his wild
boar.
George Tague's Hunt
George hunted Pig City.
He saw a group of wild hogs. George watched them and waited. Later another
group of young hogs came through and George took their picture in front
of his treestand.
When a larger hog with noticable,
white tusks came out of the brush and chased the younger hogs around he
got George's attention.
George saw a broadside, quartering
away shot opportunity and drew. The arrow hit the hog and it ran into the
woods.
When Billy Don and I drove
up in the Kubota and George related his hunt to us. Billy Don put the harness
on Tater and in seconds she was on the trail.

Here is a closer look at
the boar's hardware.
The Duck made BBQ chicken
and we destroyed it for dinner. Everyone exchanged the recount of their
hunts and visited a while and turned in at 9:30pm. That puts the finish
on today's hunt.
