December 12 - TrailTimer Pics From The Point

I took the latest TrailTimer (EZ-CAM) film from the Point to Wal Mart and got it put  on CD. I might not have seen them when I hunted there lately but wild turkeys are definitely coming to my water. Here are the highlights.

These hens turkeys are definitely on a mission as they run past the camera toward the water.

This one looks like a monstrously big turkey as the other bird closes in on the water.

The pic three minutes later catches several birds. Our camera loving turkey looks huge by comparison.

What happened here we'll never know but several turkeys are taking to the air and the camera catches it

There were another 16 pics of wild turkeys. I had the time turned off on the camera but this model TrailTimer has an event counter that tells us that. The morning visits are as early as 8:15 most of the visits being from 8:30 to 10:25. In the afternoon they arrive between 3:00 and 4:15.

Tomorrow morning I will be back there. Then around noon I think I'll go to the river to set up a Double Bull where I can glass some of the roost trees they turkeys have used in past years.
