Dec 16:  I parked my truck in the thick cedars and made my way through them to the edge of the 30 yard opening I would have to cross to get to my blind. In the faint light I could see the wild turkeys still on their roosts. Yesterday afternoon I had purposely  left my bow in the blind and the entrance slit unzipped so I could get in quietly. I dropped to all fours and crawled across the opening and down the hill, right up to the blind. I got in ... and listened to see if the turkeys would spook. They didn't.
