Action Pictures Today At Scrape City - Part 2
The buck was under me in a flash. He walked around below me, looking the area over and smelling the ground, he was walking steadily as he went and it was hard to get the camera focused on him. But I got his pic as he checked the ground for scent. In this pic he is a few steps further away than the area is where I shot the buck yesterday. Notice the limbs and twigs between us. You really have to pick your shot carefully to put an arrow through them and into the deer's vital area.

He walked back and forth, smelling the ground. This buck had long tines and a total of 9 points. Here it is as he comes in the clear.

A few steps more and I got another pic.

Once he was satisfied there was no doe in the area the buck walked into the hollow and disappeared.

Fifteen minutes later I doe grunted again. Bingo, I heard a deer coming from the "chase zone."  More Action At Scrape City...
