At Scrape City - A Buck Works The Scrape
Some days, no matter what you use or what your
technique is, you rattle or call and nothing happens. Today I was bullet
proof. I did my first rutting doe call when the light was good and I could
see the woods clearly. Two does came down the hill in front of me. They
looked around and left to my right. In 15 minutes I grunted again. A doe
came into the area and after looking around went to the scrape.
The doe worked the scrape and exited. In a few minutes a buck came
from the planted pines and went to the scrape. Check this out.
The buck face rubbed the branches of one of trees by the scrape.

NOTE:
I flipped this picture so the buck is on the right, that way it won't interfere
with your icons on the left ,of your screen if you use it for wallpaper.
Then it pawed the ground with it's front feet.

He humped his back and urinated in the scrape.

And hooked the branches of the small trees around the scrape. Then he
walked briskly up the front hill. When I lost track of his antlers
in the trees I doe-called him with my grunter. In seconds I spied him coming
back down the hill and right toward my tree. Next,
a closer look at this buck...
