See Where Your Arrow Hit
Tracer Lighted Nocks Work, They're quiet and bright

(L) Fred Lutger holds his Tracer LIghted Nock up for us to see, this is only minutes after he shot his huge 2004 bear.  (R) The bottom arrow has the Tracer Nock on.

Seeing where your arrow hits is important for bowhunters. And it's expecially important for bear hunters. On Fred's hunt the performance of the Tracer Lighted Nock was spectacular.
I will never forget the sight of the Tracer Nock glowing brightly as that huge bear rolled on the ground a few yards in front of us, trying to fight the arrow.
On my hunt the arrow zipped completely through the bear, it was a bright red blink in exactly the right place and I instantly knew for certain that my quest for a bear on the ground was a reality.
Tracer Lighted Nocks are quality units. Installing them in your arrows is easy. They don't rattle or make any noise either. And it's so light weight I didn't have to move my sight pins. Knowing exactly where you arrow hits is an asset to your hunting and I recommend Tracer Lighted Nocks to every bowhunter. Web Site: Tracer LIghted Nock.

Broadhead Test - the Magnus Stinger
Oh yea! Everything a broadhead should be.
It flys like a field point. Fred and I didn't have to change our pins at all to use the Stinger. He used the 125 grain 4-blade and I had the 100 grain 4-blade. They got great penetration and put both our bears down is seconds.
Bears are notorious for leaving poor blood trails, sometimes their fat plugs up the wound and their fur is always a sponge for blood. Even the most inexperienced person could have followed our blood trails, no problem.
Frankly, before I received the Stinger I did have one resevation, I figured I would have to resharpen it. So I was plesantly surprised when I realized the main blade can be replaced ... or resharpened if prefered.
The Magnus Stinger is Knife-grade stainless steel with an Aircraft aluminum ferrule. It was razor-sharp out of the package. Their ads say it is gets perfect flight from the fastest bows, my BowTech is pretty fast and the flight was fine, no wobbles, no noise. Each Stinger broadhead carries the Magnus Lifetime Guarantee.

Double Bull Ground Blinds
Our Mission: A Bear On The Ground
This season Fred Lutger and I have a quest, both of us want a bear on the ground.

We talked to Double Bull Archery about this and they sent us the blind to use. We put the blind to the test and it came up "all good". To Ground Blind Hunt Logs & Pics...

TRAILTIMER GAME MONITORS
WATCHING 24 HOURS A DAY - When Are The Bears Active?
Fred already had a dozen TrailTimer cameras and counters and brought 2 EZ-Cams and 2 TrailTimer 500 Event Counters. We used them before and during the hunt. Here is how we set them up and what we learned from them as the hunt developed. To Set Up & Results...

Fred gets the TrailTimers ready.
Bear02
Fred maintains over 5 dozen bait sites. We used TrailTimer Game Cameras and Event Counters to monitor bear activity and make decistions on where to -- and not to -- hunt. We took several hundred pictures, the above pics are a small sampling. To The TrailTimer Pics & How They Helped Us On This Hunt.
