NON RESIDENT HUNTING LICENSE OPTIONS

Nonresident 5-Day Special Hunting (Type 157): $35 Legal for any period of 5 days in a row (valid hunting dates printed on the license when issued). Valid to hunt: Exotic animals (see pg. 73), all legal game birds (except turkeys), squirrel and javelina (not valid for other game animals), and all nongame animals (except alligators). 

Nonresident Special Hunting (Type 107): $100 Valid to hunt: Exotic animals, all legal game birds (except turkeys), all nongame animals (except alligators), and squirrel and javelina (not valid for other game animals). 

Nonresident General Hunting License (Type 105): $250 Valid to hunt any legal bird or animal except alligators.

JAVELINA REGULATIONS - Webb County, TX

No closed season, annual bag limit of 2. These animals may be hunted at any time by any means or method on private property.

A hunting license is required. Public hunting lands may have restrictions.

A hunting license is required of any person, regardless of age, who hunts any animal or bird in this state, except an alligator hunting license is required to hunt alligators. A hunting license is not needed to hunt furbearing animals if the hunter possesses a trapper’s license. Nonresidents under 17 years of age may purchase the Special Resident Hunting License (Type 102).
Every hunter (including out-of-state hunters) born on or after Sept. 2, 1971, must successfully complete a Hunter Education Training Course. If you were born on or after Sept. 2, 1971, and you are: 

• age 17 and over, you must successfully complete a hunter education course. 
• age 12 through 16, you must successfully complete a hunter education course or be accompanied by a licensed hunter 17 years of age or older.
• under 12 years of age, you must be accompanied by a person 17 years of age or older licensed to hunt in Texas. 

It is against the law to:

• hunt or fish without a valid license, or a permit and stamp, on your person and available for inspection by a game warden, unless exempt by age 
• use another person's license to hunt or fish 
• let someone else hunt or fish with your license
• purchase more than one General Nonresident Hunting License
