The Whitetail Rut Is On Right Now . . . . December Tree
 
We notice that the bark has been rubbed off the Cedar tree at the clearings edge. 

But a rub is not necessarily notable buck sign because bucks make hundreds of rubs. 

The Cedar Tree's trunk is a size that you can reach both your hands around and touch your fingers and thumbs together, so it is larger than it appears in this picture. 

Something else about this tree catches our eye,  some of the lower branches of the tree look stripped of their greenery and appear to be bare or broken.

Lets go over for a closer look . . .

We walk over to check out the limbs. As we look down through the tree's branches, under the overhanging cedar limbs, we see something of interest . . .
