Dan & Guy, I would just like to take the time to tell you thanks. You don't know how much I appreciate you all. I started watching you all in the late 80's when I was a teen. I have to say that your shows had an impact on my life. I started bowhunting shortly after the interest was sparked. I stayed away from trouble and became an avid all around hunter. I am now a father and look forward to teaching my son the ways of the woods. Ethics have played a vital roll in my hunting career and hope to pass on everything to my son and daughter. Hello my name is Chad Austin. I am now almost 21 years old, but I began watching you and Guy hunt at a very early age. My father and I have watched nearly every video of you guys. Now I have started watching your show on the outdoor channel. You and Guy serve as an inspiration to hunters like myself everywhere. Just wanted to say that I'm glad your on the outdoor channel. I've watched tons of your videos and love them. I liked your videos cuz you always had the cam man behind you when you would find your deer. It didn't look staged. Oh, and you have the best kill shots!
Dear, Dan and Guy - I just wanted to tell you how much you guys mean to me. I know that may sound weird but it really is true. You guys inspire me to do everything I do. You guys inspired me to work all last summer and buy me a bow. I took my first doe last year with it. Passthrough I might add. I have worked this summer also and purchased a Muzzleloader. Anyways, I just wanted to say keep doing what your doing. Cause I really look up to you guys. I really do. You guys keep me out of trouble. I live in a small town so you either hunt or get in trouble with the law. So I choose to hunt. I love it. I have watched your T.V. show, since it came on. That's a sweet silver Camaro, Guy. Good taste in muscle cars. I just wanted to say thank you for all you have done, cause what you guys don't always get too see is how much you help people. You help a lot more people than you know. It's been several years since I've seen you and Guy. He was just a small kid. There isn't anybody else whom I look up to as much as you in the hunting world. I would like to see the clip from one of the videos where you and Guy were in a barn and a mouse kept tearing into the sacks of corn. You shot him with your bow! Do you plan on attending the Buck-A-Rama in Atlanta, Ga. this year? I haven't been to the show in a couple of years now since it has gotten so big, the good deals are no longer there, and you haven't been there. I would come out to see one of your seminars or just to chat a few minutes. I know your busy if your schedule permits, please let me know. I just wanted to let you know what an influence you and your team have been on my hunting career. I have spent many lunch hours at the local pro shop watching your videos. My personal favorite is " Passing Through". I am about the same age as Guy and feel as if I have grown up with him. I can remember the video where he killed his first wild hog. It is so refreshing to have a show that does not focus entirely on 160-200 class bucks at $3000 ranches. You are definitely in touch with the common man who just loves to hunt and eat wild game.
