“The Scholastic 3D Archery program, started in 2013, is a non-profit archery organization that is changing the face of youth archery across the country. In our three-year existence, we have gone from being active in just three states to being active in more than 32 states and growing,” says Jennie Richardson, Executive Director of Scholastic 3-D Archery. “Our program, simply put, is the “next step” from NASP, 4-H, and the Boy and Girl Scouts archery programs. Unlike other youth archery programs, we have standardized the tournament format rather than the equipment. Our program provides a natural progression from elementary school through collegiate-level archery. The S3DA program is unique in that it is not an inschool initiative. Municipalities, parks, archery ranges, archery shops, churches, and after-school clubs can host our clubs. Memberships, tournament entry fees, fund-raisers (like this one) and our great sponsors fund all S3DA operations. With that in mind, we hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity to help us get the word out about this fantastic opportunity to hunt a Kentucky bull elk and maybe even consider purchasing a few tickets for yourself.”

To purchase tickets by credit card, please call (606) 356-4055 or order online at Bull Elk Drawing . The goal of S3DA is to increase participation in 3-D, target archery and bowhunting by youth and their parents using compound bows, recurve bows, and traditional archery equipment. S3DA also provides a basic understanding and respect for our natural resources, environment and nature with special emphasis on modern wildlife conservation and regulated sport hunting.
Started in December 2012 by the Scholastic Archery Association, S3DA has grown exponentially as a next step program to follow introductory programs offered as part of 4-H or the National Archery in Schools Program. S3DA addresses the need for a program to bridge beginning target archery experience and more advanced activities such as 3-D shooting and bowhunting. The program currently operates across the United States with hundreds of certified coaches serving thousands of
young archers, grades 3–12. For more information on S3DA membership go to: s3da or
