Before
daylight Doug Crabtree led the way for Mike "Moxey" Spivey into a cypress
head, grunting and walking on all fours to disguise themselves as hogs
so the nearby roosting turkeys would not detect them. 
Doug
set up 150 yards from the timber where the gobblers were roosted and gobbling.
His plan was to wait till the gobblers flew down and then start calling
them. But that plan was quickly changed.
