NEW BOWS BOWTECH introduced a new 2 cam system, the Equalizer Binary Cam on 4 of it's new bows. The Allegiance has the new cam system. IBO speed is 325fps and is bowhunter designed coming with string silencers & vibration absorbers installed with. It has a long riser and short parallel limbs for recoil free shooting. Constitution also has the new cam. It is a highly forgiving bow with IBO of 308fps with short limbs for reduced shock. Defender has the new cam and is 31 1/2 inches long. Old Glory has the cam and has a 37 1/2 inch length. IBO rated at 320fps. PRB uses last year's Freedom Cam and is limited to 1,000 bows, numbered and signed by bull rider Tony Mendes. Miranda is their youth bow with an IBO rating of 270fps. HOYT the new VTEC has the Cam & 1/2 Performance System technology and Hoyt's new TEC riser design along with pro fit custom grips that you match to your shooting style, creating more accuracy and consistency. RinTec is a full featured youth bow with Versa Cam & 1/2 and adjustable short draw lengths. Sabertec is a high brace height bow with IBO speeds of 300fps. TurboTec is 330fps rated an has flame shapes in it's machined riser. It is for shooters who want speed. Gamemaster is their new hunting recurve. PSE has been a major
force in the bow industry since the late 70's. New this year is their NRG
Hybred Cam. Their newest introduction was the Vengeance featuring
vibration free shooting and either the new hybrid cam or one cam. Primos
STL is the latest Primos bow. It has the hybrid cam, a new riser and
different limbs. It's lighter fast with over 300fps speeds. The hybrid
cam is offered on several other bows in the line. Shark is a forgiving
bow with a brace height of 8 1/2 inches and has similar specs to a target
bow and is one of the most accurate hunting bows available.
JENNINGS The CK 3.48 has the new J-Rev perfectly balanced single cam. New is FNT (Force Neutralizing Technology) limbs that are pre-bent and produce less vibration and sound. RENEGADE has two new cams and new machined riser. The SF Cam is very smooth and with good speed and the RAC Flame Cam is the high speed cam. This year's TX-5 comes with either cam. The RAC one is for speed bow shooters and the SF one is expected to be a favorite with bowhunters who what a smoother bow with excellent speed. REFLEXE newest 2005 bow is aimed at bowhunters. The new SUPER SLAM is inspired by Chuck Adams and features split-limbs and a silencing system. AR (Archery Research) offers the new AR-34 with the 2005 RAM PLUS CAM. Additional new models, the AR-31 or AR-37 come in the RAM PLUS or the hybrid RAM & A Half Cam. BROWNING Over the years the Browning Mirage model bow has seen lots of changes. This year's MIRAGE 1.5 features the Cyber 1.5 Hybrid Cam System. It has the Ultralight Mirage Riser and is smooth, light and consistent. Oasis is 37" long, it has the 2.5 cam and weighs 3.7 pounds. KODIAK Outdoors showed their new Kodiak Bow Logic 34. The Bow Logic concept is to integrate professional grade accessories to the innovative Kodiak bows. Quick Draw S-Cam - The new Quik Draw S Cam is smooth and quiet and reaches speeds in excess of 300 fps while maintaining five inches of draw length adjustments in half inch increments. APA Innovations
introduced 2 new light weight bows, each weighing 4.1 lbs. and 35-inches
axel to axel. The Black Mamba lists an IBO Speed of 340fps and has 65%
let off.
STORM ARCHERY introduced
their 5 new bows for 2005. The Elite bow's 38X cam is calibrated to match
the new 4-inch idler wheels. Other new features are all-new 1.5 inch limbs
and Storm's all-machined riser and parallel limb design. E-System Bows
have the cam on the top limb. Lil' Thunder a full featured machined
riser bow with shorter draw lengths for young archers or ladies.
