Golden Key Futura - Two new arrow rests for bowhunters. The Captivator is a combination of the two hottest new arrow rest concepts, a containment rest and a drop away rest. It does not drop away unless the arrow is shot and provides maximum fletching clearance. The Whisper Disk has been redesigned and now uses the same tough, replaceable, weather resistant A-42 material that is used by the Navy SEALS for stealth and durability. Robert Troncoso told me is would not tear up my feathers and he showed me how quiet this new material is. I ordered one. Robinson Labs now has an extensive line of Scent Blocker Outerwear for 2005 that provide scent control and elimination, including underwear, winter wear, rain gear and regular pants and jackets. The WhiteWater line of Berber fleece garments and berber lined garments continues to grow. If you hunt when it is cold and have never tried pants, jackets or sweaters made of Berber or Berber WindBlocker you have missed out on some of the warmest and wind stoppingest clothing that ever met severe weather. Archers Choice Videos are now available on DVD. Ralph and Vicki Ciancirulo are known to bowhunters everywhere through these videos as well as their popular Archer's Choice TV Show. Has ArrowDynamic Solutions owner Matt Futtere invented the next generation of broadheads? Their new ATOM broadhead does not have blades! It cuts with curved razor-sharp wires that are set in the broadhead's one piece ferrule. This razor wire holds an extremely sharp edge and does not interfere with arrow flight. The wires are replaceable. The companies 2004 entry into the market was the Gobbler Guillotine for wild turkey hunting. It has 4 blades, each 4 inches wide and you shoot for the Tom's neck or head. Deer Aging Tool is a compact, handy reference tool for aging deer. Made by G & R Products it is the product of two Wildlife Biologists and scientists. Inside the Tools carrying case there are 8 replicas of deer lower jaws. Each replica jaw bone replicates the tooth wear pattern of deer ranging from 1½ to 8½ years of age. Looks pretty nifty to me. Antler Products has a new idea for rattling antlers. It's clever design makes for one or two handed use. I wanted to try it out but it's one of several booths still on my "must see" list when the show closed. Rancho Safari is known for their CatQuiver and Shaggie camo suit. Similar to a Ghili suit, the Shaggie -- as the picture demonstrates -- works. North Starr Treestands has a thoroughly impressive tree stand and treestand accessory line. New are the Forest TreeCat Climbers, the TreeMaster H/C two piece climbing stand, the Mega Starr FS fixed position treestand, the Traveling Starr FLS folding ladder stand. I've used NorthStarr stands for several years and highly recommend them. They were built by bowhunter Bill Goodwin, a man who knows what bowhunters require as well as how to make safe, quiet, lightweight, easy to put up treestands. Last year Jay Leitche of Grim Reaper Broadheads came down to bowhunt wild hogs with me. We spent most of the time digging my stuck truck out of the mud and he went to another place to hunt them and text his broadheads, but this is another year and I stopped by his booth and we are planning a 2005 get together. Hammer Bow Hanger is a line of nifty bow hangers from Archery Shooting Systems. Made of powder coated 14 gauge steel it can be moved quickly and easily. It does double duty at a campsite to hold lanterns, towels, clothing or anything you want to keep off the ground! There are rubber coated tips to protect your bow (or other equipment) and it breaks down into two pieces for easy storage and transport. This gadget looked "all good" to me and I bought the #6WLL Wall Hanger for 6 bows. PlotSpike Seeds did me right this last deer season. I sent 3 soil samples and Mike Massey emailed me the results and sent seed mixes that he recommended for my area. (Food Plot). Even though my plot was small the results were beyond my expectations and resulted in one of the most intense, exciting and rewarding online hunts I have ever done.
