MAKING YOUR BOWHUNTING LIST
by Art Champoux
Art Champoux Now is the time to make your list of what you would like to see your Dealer carry next year. If you have a local dealer here is what you do.
Check out all the bowhunting magazines on the news stands and Bowhunting.Net, as many will be sending new product information in to them. Most will have many of the new widgets, bows and accessories that will be selling this next fall.

Ask your dealer if he is going to the AMO trade show. Get together with your hunting buddies and see if you can come up with a list of accessories you want your dealer to look at while at this show. This will help you get the items you want and your dealer to stock them when you want them. This will do him and you a favor.

Dealers do not want to carry over stock and many archers do not want to rder something they have not seen from the catalog houses  So there is an answer. Let you dealer know what you are interested in. At the show the dealers can pick up the goods, look at them and tell if it is worth carrying. No dealer wants to bring in an item that will be hard to sell, or not of the quality their customers demand.

And if your dealer is not going to the show, give him the list anyway. He can always order in one product just to check it out before placing a substantial order later.

So, make up a list, give it to your dealer and let him be your eyes. He'll know what you want and you'll get the right products for your sport and your money.

That's the way I see it in my "View From Behind The String".
